Cypher End-To-End. Every message, file, call and location is locked with a cypher on the sender's device and only unlocked on the devices of the people in that conversation. Nothing in between, including our servers, can read it.

No. Messages, files, calls and locations are encrypted on your devices with keys we never hold. We run the service without being able to see what is said, what is sent or where anyone is.
Yes. In a personal space, each person can share their location on the family map: who is where, their battery, places like Home and School with arrive and leave alerts, crash detection, driving reports and SOS. Unlike most location apps, the locations are end-to-end encrypted, so even we cannot see them, and nobody can turn sharing on for someone else.
Yes. Pick a @username and share it, or let people scan your QR code or tap an NFC card. They send a contact request, and nothing reaches you until you accept. Those chats sit in your own Contacts space, apart from any company. Nobody can browse the list of users, and you can hide yourself completely.
Yes. Invite clients as guests: they only see the conversations you share with them. Owners can let chosen staff invite clients, and can choose to see staff and client conversations. When that is on, everyone in the chat is shown a clear label, so nothing is hidden.
No. The app lock is your choice. Lock CETEChat with a PIN, Face ID or fingerprint and choose when it asks: as soon as you leave, after a few minutes, or only when the app opens. A company can require it for its staff.
They reset it by email. If they saved their recovery key, every conversation opens again straight away. Without it, they get new keys and their conversations come back as soon as someone in each one is online.
On servers in Sydney, Australia. Messages and files are stored encrypted, only your people hold the keys, and daily backups are kept for 14 days.
Yes. Anyone can clear a conversation from their own view. Company owners and admins can delete every message and file in a conversation, or a whole channel, for everyone. Deleted content is erased from our servers, not archived.
